TMA Games has just lifted the lid on its latest project, Torment Hexus, a match-3 roguelike with turn-based tactical combat where players teach CEOs the cost of moving fast and breaking things.

The game is said to be set in dark warehouses and clinical labs, where players fight robotic war dogs, cybernetic chimpanzees, and corporate mages instead of giant spiders and dragons.

According to a press release that we received, the game draws influence from the popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons, as well as classic roguelikes Angband and Dungeonmans.

Torment Hexus isn’t the first game from the Philadelphia-based studio. Their past game, Waves of Steel, is a build-your-own-warship arcade naval combat game, where ships kickflip over torpedoes and paradrop from giant, nuclear-powered airplanes. 

There’s no word on its release date just yet, but in the meantime, you can check out the reveal trailer for Torment Hexus below:
