This is just a quick one really, to tell you that our friends over at Hooded Horse have just made a big announcement about one of their games, Against the Storm.

If you’re not already in the know, Against the Storm is an excellent RTS with impeccable vibes and a top tier roguish gameplay loop. Developed by Eremite Games, this fantasy strategy roguelite hybrid has enjoyed a fantastic reception on PC (include our gushing review right here). In fact, the game recently surpassed 1.5 million in sales, which is not too shabby in my opinion.

Now, the good news, as the developer has partnered with QLOC to bring Against the Storm to console platforms this summer. According to the announcement, the game is hitting PS4, PS5, Switch, and Xbox platforms, although there’s no mention of the Switch 2 just yet.

The final question, then, is a matter of when? Lucky for you console strategists, there’s not long to wait, as Against the Storm is set to sweep onto the above platforms on June 26, 2025.

All that is left for you to do is check out the new release date trailer below, which was made especially for the occaision and shows off the game in motion. But only if you want to, of course.
