Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles turns three this month, and this fan favourite dice-driven deckbuilder has attracted a dedicated community in the last three years.
With Astrea enjoying a birthday, that means presents. For us! The new 1.3 anniversary update brings a load of new content to the game, and the rollout should mix up the meta for existing players.
The folks at Little Leo included a bunch of game-changing content, including 50 new blessings, 10 new sentinels, and 10 new events. There are also five new run modifiers to further mix things up for you.
Lead dev Leonardo Castanho also explained that a much-requested QoL feature has been added. “Now, when hovering [over] a die, that die’s faces are shown besides the die face action tooltip.”
If you want all the balance notes, you’ll have to head to Steam. Otherwise, I’ll leave you with the knowledge that Astrea is currently 50% off on PC, and at the time of writing, it’s also similarly discounted on iOS and Xbox. Meanwhile, I checked the UK stores for Google Play, Sony, and Nintendo Switch, but I couldn’t see a price cut there.
