Barbaric Games is kicking things off with absolute bang in its debut project, Bearley Brave.

This twisted roguelike deckbuilder sees toys come to life after dark and duke it out to increase their chances of finding a forever home. Inspired by deckbuilder classics Slay the Spire and Balatro, its set to add a cuddly twist on the genre when it launches on Steam in the near future.

Players will meet Toby, a hopeful Teddy Bear, and help him as he climbs the ranks of the toyshop. There are 14 bosses in the game, and these include Chef Chomper, Chuckles the Clown, and more.

Bearly Brave has hundreds of build options with 50-plus Skill Cards, more than 50 Weapon Cards, over 100 patches. It also contains 15 difficulty levels and 10 starting decks to test your skills every run.

In a press release that we received, it was teased that a public demo for Bearly Brave will be landing soon. This is said to feature the first 12 stages of the tournament and will allow players to get a feel of its mechanics.
