It’s now less than a month (1st September) until The Prisoner from Dead Cells joins the ever-growing roster of BlazBlue Entropy Effect.
With that day growing ever closer, developer and publisher 91Act has released a new gameplay trailer showing The Prisoner in action. The 54-second teaser shows the Dead Cells protagonist decimating foes with a variety of melee weapons, ranged weapons, and explosives from MotionTwin’s rogue classic.
If this has succeeded in whetting your appetite, there is still a 10% discount on the BlazBlue x Dead Cells bundle on Steam. Here, you can purchase both roguelike greats in one neat little package.
Prior to The Prisoner, the most recent addition to BlazBlue Entropy Effect was Bullet, introduced on June 26th via the Bullet Character Pack. Specialising in strike-and-throw attacks, Bullet has the ability to quickly lock onto her enemies and unleash furious combos.
Mike recently reviewed the action-packed roguelike when it arrived on Android and iOS devices. In his review, he said:
“…the fluid controls, spectacular battles, and tightly-packed arena encounters result in some of the most eye-catching combat in the roguish space.”
