It’s no exaggeration to say that Brotato is one of the greatest games of 2023 all time, and if you’re not already aware of this brilliant potato-themed auto-shooter, there’s time to right that wrong.
For fans already in the know, I have good news, as delivered via the inaugural Triple-i Initiative. In short, the bros are back in the summer with a couple of super interesting updates, one paid and one free.
What is lurking in the Abyssal Terrors expansion?
The paid-for DLC expansion goes by the name Abyssal Terrors and it’s going to include a bunch of new content, including:
20 new waves with new enemies, elites and bosses
10+ new characters
10+ new weapons
30+ new items
On top of that paid-for stuff, there’s also a free update on the horizon, and that too is going to include a bunch of stuff, too.
The highlight of the free expansion is undoubtedly the addition of couch co-op, which should work like an absolute dream in this case. Here are the highlights:
– Local co-op for up to four players – Game balancing adjustments – New content – although what that it remains unclear
Brotato is currently available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox. There’s also a review of the base game right here, and an announcement trailer for your viewing pleasure below.
