Dave the Diver, everyone’s favourite harpoon-wielding fisherman-turned-restaurateur, is heading to Android and iOS in just a few weeks, after developer Mintrocket confirmed the release date and a few interesting tidbits about the launch.
Dave the Diver will arrive on Android and iOS on September 17, alongside a couple of the game’s DLC packs – The Dredge and In The Jungle DLCs were mentioned by name, but others, such as the Godzilla one, weren’t included in the press release.
The presser did mention that anyone who purchases the game will also get the Digital Extra DLC, which includes an art book and some music!
The port to Android and iOS also means quality-of-life changes. For example, there are going to be a couple of tweaks for mobile gamers, such as gyro controls for tea making in the restaurant, and even fast travel in and around the Sea People’s Village.
If you’ve not played Dave the Diver before and you’re looking forward to checking it out on mobile, you can pre-register for both the Android and the iOS versions of the game ahead of its coming release.
Finally, Dave is also making an appearance in a new game via another crossover event. This one is already up and running and will remain live until September 7, as our Dave is making a temporary appearance in a life sim I’d not heard of called Heartopia, which is out on PC and mobile.
