There was a triple-bill of Dave the Diver tidbits waiting for me in my inbox today, and so I thought I’d gather them all together for anyone interested in Dave’s latest business.

The major headline is the surprise launch of Dave the Diver on Xbox Series and Xbone. It’s the final piece of the puzzle for Mintrocket’s deep sea roguelite, which had previously opened for business on PC, PS, and Switch. Now the set menu is complete.

At the same time as the Xbox release was confirmed, we also got first sight of the next major expansion coming to the game. It’s called Into the Jungle and it’ll be the game’s largest update so far, when it lands in early 2026.

From what I’ve gleaned thus far, Dave will be spending some of his time on foot in the new biome, which will come complete with new story beats, characters, freshwater fish to catch, recipes, and mini-games.

Once we know the date for the Into the Jungle DLC, we will also learn when the retail edition of the game will land on PS and Switch. That version of the game is going to include this new expansion, so I doubt we’ll see the physical edition before then.

The trailer below actually follows the same script as the new CloverPit trailer, which also just landed on Xbox. Both trailers profile the new editions of the game, and give us a sneak peek at some upcoming DLC.
