Diceomancer, the quirky deckbuilder by Ultra Piggy Studio, has turned two, and to mark the occasion, publisher Gamirror Games had news bits to share, including a release date for the upcoming mobile version of the dice-focused roguelite.
Diceomancer is a really interesting game that combines a distinctive fairytale cartoon aesthetic with a dynamic approach to dice-building. I played the game at launch, and I know I’m not alone, because since then Gamirror has sold 250,000 copies – a solid result for an unheralded roguelike deckbuilder.
And there’s more still to come from Diceomancer, a game which I’d love to go back and play more of, time allowing. I’ll have my chance and a good excuse early next year, when Diceomancer arrives on Android and iOS on January 12, 2027.
Finally, I leave you with the same closing sentiment as the developers did in the statement on Steam where I found this update, and that’s the news that many of those who worked on Diceomancer have a new game coming out soon. It’s called Groove Core, and it has a demo ahead of the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
