With the news that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is heading to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, it was clear the game was moving closer to release. Now it’s taken the next step on that journey with its first major Early Access update.

Named Greed & Glory, the update’s headline addition is Hex, a new combat path that lets players curse enemies, dealing delayed damage that can spread between nearby foes.

The update also introduces 20 new combat rooms, around 10 new shop cosmetics, and expanded perk sets from Nou, Anacard, and Sliver.

Rounding things out is a new wave-based challenge mode called Wave Colosseum, where each biome brings its own enemies and mini-bosses across escalating rounds.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is available now on PC via Early Access. The full 1.0 release is coming later in 2026 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
