With just two months to go until release, hype has clearly been building for Slay the Spire 2, as it’s currently the fifth most wishlisted game on Steam, according to SteamDB.

The deckbuilding sequel is currently outpacing major blockbusters such as Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and 007 First Light, with only Resident Evil Requiem, Light No Fire, Deadlock, and Subnautica ranking higher.

Of course, wishlists don’t automatically translate into sales, but they remain a promising indicator for the game ahead of its Steam Early Access launch in March 2026.

We recently pulled together a guide covering everything you need to know about the game ahead of its launch. Be sure to give it a read to learn more about Slay the Spire 2’s new and returning characters, unique setting and new engine, and decision to launch into Early Access.
