If you want roguelike and roguelite game announcements and trailers, one of the best places to look is the Triple-I Initiative, the occasional livestream event organised by Evil Empire.
The most recent Triple-I Initiative was back in April, and honestly I wasn’t expecting another until next year; however, today I got a surprise announcement in my inbox. Here’s what you need to know:
The Triple-I Initiative is returning for another round of indie game announcements, with a 45-minute event taking place on October 8th, 5 pm UK Time. As confirmed in the trailer below, we’re getting news on some fantastic games, including Evil Empire’s current focus: Brotato: Primal Dread.
The event promises “eight exclusive world premieres, from studios such as Team17, Amanita Design, Strange Scaffold, and Norsfell.”
Games confirmed so far include a couple that are of interest to me, with Dave the Diver and Risk of Rain 2 joining Brotato in the line-up. Assuming all of the games in the trailer are in the event, I also spotted Astral Ascent and Sulpher in there, too.
Other confirmed titles include: Windrose, Hela: of Mice and Magic, Militsioner, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, Haunted Paws and Outward 2. Finally, there’s a new Among Us title to be showcased.
