I might be part of a dying breed, but I always get a thrill from seeing games outside the AAA space receive boxed editions. There’s something satisfying about holding a physical copy in your hands, and it gives me the perfect excuse to hoard them on my shelves.
The latest rogue to land a physical release is the roguelite FPS Abyssus which is embracing the format this summer. The physical release known as the Brine Edition comes packed with four DLC expansions: Brinehunter DLC, Brineguard DLC, Brinefrost DLC, and Brinerot DLC and is priced at £29.99. You can place your pre-order for the Brine Edition here.
Mike reviewed Abyssus when it launched last August. In his review, he said: “I really like Abyssus, particularly when playing in a party. “It’s in the game’s most chaotic moments that it shines brightest, when the team is up against it and working together.”
