It’s Dave the Diver Day here on Rogueliker. Not only are we cooking up an extended review of the game and all of its DLC ahead of the upcoming mobile launch on September 17, but the team at Mintrocket has added to the fun with an announcement (or two) earlier today.
The headline is that Dave the Diver has sold an incredible 10 million copies across PC and console (PS, Switch, and Xbox). That’s a fantastic result whichever way you look at it, and it makes Dave’s original adventure among the best-selling roguelites ever made.

I think equally impressive is the pick-up rate on the game’s expansion, In the Jungle. 1 in 10 people who played the base game moved on to the expansion, which we’ll also be writing about over the next couple of days. That’s 1 million sales for an optional DLC, which ain’t too shabby either.
“Everyone here at Mintrocket continues to be blown away by the passion and love that Dave the Diver attracts even years after launch,” said Jaeho Hwang, Head of Studio and Game Director, Mintrocket.
“We are looking forward to expanding the Dave the Diver franchise in the future, including the upcoming cooking simulation and adventure spin-off, Bancho The Chef. We want to thank everyone who has shown their faith in us, and we can’t wait to share our future plans.”
Not only are there big plans ahead, but there are also several high-profile collabs linked to the game, which also explains its popularity over the last few years. With DLC already available for Godzilla, Like a Dragon (for a limited time), and Dredge, there’s already plenty of Dave the Diver to go around.
Congrats to everyone involved!
