It has been a busy day over at Mintrocket, the studio behind Dave the Diver, with several news stories bundled together for everyone’s convenience. Here are the highlights…

Dave the Diver is heading to mobile

It was buried in the email, but the planned release of Dave the Diver on mobile is great piece of news if you’re on iOS and Android.

I’m sure a few of you have been waiting to play this quirky little diving-cooking-hybrid roguelite on mobile, as the quick dives and short shifts serving sushi should go well together.

There’s no confirmed release date at the time of writing; all we’ve got to work with is “August”, but the studio is planning to let us know more about pre-registration details “in the coming weeks.”

Everything else

The Dev Diary embedded directly below, which marks the third anniversary of the game, contains all of the other announcements. Check it out to see more of the new DLC, In the Jungle, which is dropping on all platforms on June 18th, and some new Dave threads.

The studio also took the opportunity to talk more about Bancho the Chef, the prequel which was announced last week during Sony State of Play.

And as mentioned briefly above, they’ve also got a load of merch up for sale. Simply hit this link if you like that sort of thing.

Finally, Mintrocket has also announced its next project, which, for what it’s worth, is going to be Godzilla Defense Force: X.
