Dave the Diver, everyone’s favourite underwater adventure, has launched on Android and iOS today, completing the set in the process, with the game now available on PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
If you’re not already in the loop, the hit roguelite by Mintrocket is all about a diver called Dave who must explore an underwater world full of excitement and sharks, all the while catching enough food to serve back at his restaurant: Bancho Sushi. (Hit the link for our Dave the Diver review.)
Speaking of Bancho Sushi, the new mobile version supports gyro controls, so you can tilt your handset to pour tea in the restaurant. There are also new view distances to choose from, if you want a slightly different perspective on the smaller screen of your mobile.
The Dredge DLC and the In the Jungle expansion, which we recently reviewed, are also available on mobile platforms. However, the collab with Sega for Like a Dragon didn’t make it over to the Android and iOS versions of the game.
Mintrocket’s quirky roguelite was in the newsfeed just last week, after the studio confirmed that Dave the Diver had sold 10 million copies! Now, with the game making an appearance on mobile platforms, the future looks bright for Dave and his buddies.
