It’s a game that crossed my radar recently, during Steam Next Fest when I played the demo. Now FatalZone is ready for broader public consumption.
For the uninfected among you, FatalZone is an auto-shooter with “roguelike and RPG” elements. Think Vampire Survivors but with a strong zombie theme and a camp management aspect.
At least, that was my read after playing the demo. It was enough to persuade me to grab the game, but I’ve not played it again yet.
FatalZone in Early Access
MidHard Games expects the game to be in Early Access for “no longer than a year”, and the relatively modest price “may” go up based on the amount of content there at launch.
According to the details shared on Steam, the final game will “contain points of [interest], new combat scenarios in raids, unique abilities for mercenary classes.”
At launch, there are three locations, seven character classes, and a whole bunch of different pathways to explore.
