I’m back with another batch of interesting games, all of them imbued with roguish spirit, at least to some extent. It’s a goodly mix, too, boosted in large part by a few discoveries from Next Fest, plus some major expansions that are set to land in the month of November.

There were so many new roguelikes up for consideration this month, and even though there are more than 50 games featured below, none were made using genAI and all of them look quite interesting. Enjoy!

Brotato: Primal Dread | Evil Empire | Nov 2 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

For many of you, the biggest releases of the month will be DLCs, and they don’t come much more exciting than this major injection of potato-flavoured content in Brotato. With Evil Empire now at the helm, we can look forward to a steady stream of new stuff, and Primal Dread adds a fresh map, enemies, weapons, and more. On PC first, with other platforms to follow early next year.

Gravhounds | Octopus Panic | Nov 2 | PC (Win)

This Early Access shooter by Octopus Panic has a little bit of everything. Third-person combat? Check. Extraction shooter elements? Check. Tower defence tactics? Check. A dash of roguishness for good measure? Check. It’s even got anthropomorphic dogs, because any sci-fi shooter worth its salt needs a gang of talking dogs to stop things from getting too predictable.

Food Devils | Studio Daimon | Nov 3 | PC (Win)

If you’re after something a bit spicy to play next, Food Devils is a mixture of romance and tactics that plays out against the backdrop of a restaurant staffed by demons during the end times. I interviewed the devs, if you’d like to find out more about what they’re cooking.

Diecast | sofamire | Nov 3 | PC (Win)

The early part of this month is going to be intense, and part of the reason for that is Diecast, which looks like it needs my attention when it rolls out on PC in the first week of November. Diecast looks bright, colourful, and full of RNG, which is how I like my dicebuilders!

Hunter’s Hand | Pixel Moon | Nov 3 | PC (Win)

This archaic-looking pixel-art fighting game deckbuilder hybird was a Next Fest discovery, with a demo landing shortly before the game’s planned Early Access release. If you fancy a mixture of classic Killer Instinct and roguelike deckbuilding, check it out.

Corpus et Spiritus | Arpentor Studio | Nov 3 | PC (Lin, Win)

Corpus et Spiritus is described as an alchemy deckbuilder, wherein you’ll have to use your powers to brew up upgrades for your cards in order to shake off a demonic pact that will get you killed if you’re not careful. Phew. An interesting premise, and the art looks lovely, too.

Lucky Punk | Green Parrot Games | Nov 3 | PC (Win)

Let’s give this one its full name: Lucky Punk: a push your luck Deckbuilder, because that tells you quite a bit about this sassy little card game. Not only is this a risk-focused deckbuilder but there’s a bold comic book style that looks rather striking, and the promise of fast runs with hard choices certainly has me intrigued.

House of the Lost: Revived | F5 Games | Nov 3 | PC (Win)

If you’re a fan of The Binding of Isaac, there are two games coming out this month which are aimed squarely at you. This is the first: House of the Lost: Revived, a top-down roguelite about making outrageous weapons and pushing on until the house gets you.

Slumber Realm | Chugga Chugga | Nov 4 | PC (Win)

As a child of the ’90s, a Dicey Dungeon-esque deckbuilder with dice and tons of nostalgia sounds like it could be right up my street. Not only is the theme on point for a 40-something like me, but the art style looks absolutely dreamy. All in all, Slumber Realm is one to watch, I think.

Worship | Chasing Rats Games | Nov 4 | PC (Win), PS5

Not only is Worship leaving Early Access on PC, but the new PS5 version of this Pikmin-inspired strategy game is also due on the 4th. This dark fantasy roguelite is all about building a cult of dedicated followers, and using blood to bring your rituals to life and colour to the game.

Void/Breaker | Stubby Games | Nov 4 | PC (Win), PS5, Xbox Series

After a stint in Early Access, the futuristic first-person shooter from Stubby Games and Playstack is ready to roll out with the full version of the game hitting PC, alongside a two-pronged assault on PS5 and Xbox Series (where it’ll be on Game Pass). I’ve enjoyed Void/Breaker during Early Access and look forward to jumping back in for 1.0.

Hull Rupture | Konfa Games | Nov 4 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

Konfa Games is on a bit of a run of late, and the indie studio is back with another sci-fi adventure with plenty of roguelite spirit. Hull Rupture leaves the despots and slime monsters behind on Earth and instead puts you aboard a ship with a vengeful mission. During your journey, you’ll repel aliens and build out your craft, using the people on board as a resource to keep you going.

Bibidi Bibidi! | Daan, Indiana-Jonas | Nov 4 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

The words Bibidi Bibidi immediately conjure up the image of an old wizard and some silly spellcasting, and I think that’s pretty much what we’re getting from this magic-powered deckbuilder. Here, the hook is that each card you play has multiple sections, increasing the number of potential synergies accordingly.

Wielders of the Essence | Lavapotion | Nov 5 | PC (Mac, Win)

Wielders of the Essence describes itself as a “single-player horde survival with a touch of incremental base building,” and I’d add that it’s a more focused auto-shooter than many of its ilk. Not only does the setup sound engaging, but the pixel art presentation looks really good. Songs of Conquest dev Lavapotion is looking to deliver another distinct fantasy adventure, and I’m eager to play more.

Dominus Gladiatus | Brain Seal | Nov 5 | PC (Win), PS5, Switch, Xbox

Running a gladiator school and then scrapping in an arena is actually the perfect backdrop from some engaging roguelite shenanigans, and that’s we’re getting next from Brain Seal. In this autobattler you’ll be recruiting and training your gladiators, and then they’ll take to the arena for automated fights that end with blood and dismemberment.

Grimoire of Blanks | Esteran Games | Nov 6 | PC (Win)

This pixel-art deckbuilder might look a little rustic, but after playing the demo during Next Fest, I wanted to make sure to include it here. The core hook is clever, as you have words and cards, and you can mix and match them to create spells with different effects.

Gear Up Einstein! | No Deadlines | Nov 6 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

I thought I was done writing this article, and then Gear Up Einstein! emerged from my inbox and demanded inclusion. This silly-looking autobattler has you taking famous people from history, giving them the best gear possible, and then sending them into battle with a strange assortment of enemies from across time.

Vena | loerting | Nov 9 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

This automation game blends in roguelike elements to create a unique-sounding premise. Couple this with the fact that Vena has a unique-looking art style, too, with its lovely pixels and bloody hex-grid, and a production line that is actually a living organism.

Warhammer Survivors | Auroch Digital | Nov 10 | Android, iOS, PC (Win), PS5, Switch 1+2, Xbox Series

I know there will be a lot of people interested in seeing how Warhammer Survivors turns out, given how it has one foot in the automated game design of Vampire Survivors, and the other foot firmly planted in the world of Warhammer. Given my huge interest in one, and a passing interest in the other, I’m rather looking forward to this one, which is hitting all the platforms at once this month.

The Devil’s Due | Games People Play | Nov 10 | PC (Win)

In The Devil’s Due, you’re playing cards, but your opponents are not the usual hustlers and card sharks, but rather lost souls you must defeat on your way to a rematch with the devil. It also needs repeating: the art in this game looks fantastic and full of personality.

Australia Did It: End-of-the-World Railway Defense Business | Rami Ismail, Aesthetician Labs | Nov 10 | PC (Win)

The game with a name that just keeps giving. Australia Did It, as the title explains, is a tactics game about operating a railway across the floor of a dried-out ocean (courtesy of the Australians – cheers, guys). Between steering your train between stations, you must engage in tense turn-based battles where you’re facing attacks from four different directions at the same time. My brain already hurts…

Tax-Force | Outsider Games | Nov 10 | PC (Win)

Inspired by classic cartoons and superhero comics, Tax-Force are the ones taking on the true threat to humanity: the billionaire class who would forever keep you in their debt. This looks very silly, somewhat inspired by old X-Men comics, and carries an important message about hunting down all those tax-dodging billionaires.

Annihilated | Death Kumiai | Nov 10 | PC (Win)

In this story-driven roguelite, you must rescue the members of a failed mission, returning them home and learning a few new skills along the way. Part-JRPG and part-deckbuilder, Annihilated has four fallen heroes to rescue, so prepare for four different stories.

Spaceborn Awakening | ProtoGames | Nov 10 | PC (Win)

Sci-fi survivors-like Spaceborn Awakening certainly looks the part, with nice, crisp graphics and plenty of explosions and visual effects for your eyeballs to enjoy. This narrative-driven bullet heaven has you turning up as a rescue crew at a station in deep space, but I think you can already guess how that turns out…

Void Reaver | Banana Blitz | Nov 11 | PC (Win)

Void Reaver looks like it was cut from the same cloth as God of Weapons, thanks to the similar style of the character designs and that crisp low-poly art style. This new sci-fi bullet heaven also has a major focus on inventory management, so if that’s your thing, wishlist it!

Reality Drift | Arganoid Industriees | Nov 11 | PC (Win)

This cel-shaded racing game looks like it’s trying to channel the long-lost spirit of Out Run, but shot through with roguelite design ideas, plenty of absurd elements, and a series of weird worlds to drive through. Decisions are made in real-time, and so there’s a bit of pressure built into the deckbuilding.

Wall World Strategy | Alawar | Nov 11 | PC (Win)

Not strictly a roguelite, but Wall World Strategy has definitely evolved from good roguelite stock. This next game in the vertically-challenged series is more than just digging and fighting, now you’ve got to keep a whole colony of people alive in this futurstic city builder.

John Gleep | monthbug | Nov 11 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

It took me a little while to get my head around John Gleep. On the one hand, you must abduct people to play in your casino, and on the other hand, those people then bounce around your arcade like balls in a pachinko machine. The twist? You do both at the same time…

Splatchinko | Stupidi Pixel | Nov 12 | PC (Win)

If you’ve ever wanted to beat an opponent into oblivion with a massive eyeball projectile, then your very particular itch is about to get scratched this month with the launch of Splatchinko. This absurd sci-fi pachinko roguelite has you, a floating space entity, firing eyeballs of different types at planets guarded by pachinko boards. I know, it makes no sense, but with eyes this striking, it doesn’t need to.

Engagement | Trevor Parker | Nov 12 | PC (Win)

This sci-fi survivors-like puts you in the bridge of a giant spaceship, with support from a few able fighters. Together you must survive until backup arrives, but that’s easier said than done, given the waves of enemies you have to repel in that time. Luckily, anything you destroy can be looted for scrap and then bolted onto your ship, giving you the chance to recycle your enemies into your future upgrades.

Spin Tactics | Dead Broke Games | Nov 12 | PC (Win)

A quirk word about Spin Tactics, a fusion of deckbuilding and roguelite slot machine manipulation, all wrapped up with neon-infused art.

500 Finger Fillet | DEADBODY Games | Nov 12 | PC (Win)

The twisted child of Inscryption, Buckshot Roulette, and CloverPit. Yes, that’s three games, and no, nobody knows who the true parents are. That shouldn’t stop you from checking out 500 Finger Fillet, though, which wants you to stab, stab, and stab again, and hopefully not lose any fingers in the process…

Ball X Pit: Risen Ballbylon | Kenny Sun | Nov 12 | Android, iOS, PC (Mac, Win), PS5, Switch, Xbox Series

I’m a big fan of the base game, and so I’m very much looking forward to sitting down with Risen Ballbylon, the upcoming expansion for Ball X Pit. This fusion of Arkanoid block breaking, fantasy RPG base-building, and survivors-like theorycrafting is about as addictive as they come, and this expansion promises to add a whole bunch of new content to an already busy game.

9 Kings | Sad Socket | Nov 11 | PC (Mac, Win)

It was obvious as soon as 9 Kings marched into Early Access that we were looking at a seriously good fantasy autobattler. It has been a few months since I played it last, and since then the game has launched on mobile in October. If you’ve ever wanted to mash tiny armies into each other, 9 Kings has you covered.

Delve Survivors | iDiOSLAB | Nov 12 | PC (Mac, Win)

Delve Survivors is a really interesting fusion of turn-based roguelike and chaotic survivors-like. Your enemies move when you do, which gives you time to coordinate your attacks. I tried the demo for this one recently and I liked it, which makes this yet another game I’ve got try and squeeze in during this most hectic of months.

runz | sardin-ventures | Nov 13 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

I discovered this little beaut during Next Fest, and I will do my best to play enough to have more to say about it when runz lands in the middle of the month. This minimalist shooter might be light on pixels, but it’s big on depth. I really like the way they’ve done the weapon system, which is more linear than other games like it. Yet the bullet system creates a unique tension and puts a fresh spin on the Brotato-like formula.

UnderMire | Table Knight Games | Nov 13 | PC (Win)

I think UnderMire looks like it could be a real treat, especially if you’re a fan of the cartoon aesthetic, which I think looks absolutely brilliant. This first-person roguelite looks like it has real personality, too, and the fact that it supports online co-op means that it’s also a potential contender for game night.

Pool of Madness | Bit Golem | Nov 13 | PC (Win)

I’ve always had a soft spot for digital table sports, and that’s what put me onto Pool of Madness. What kept me playing the demo was the spooky atmosphere and the engaging gameplay. This isn’t your usual pool game either, as you have a gun and more to help you progress further and, hopefully, retain your sanity.

Amazing Slot Survivor (A.S.S.) | TWOMENGAMES | Nov 13 | PC (Win)

It’s got a silly name, and it’s essentially a bullet heaven inspired by the likes of Megabonk. Yet, Amazing Slot Survivor is also quite polished, and it’s clear that the developers have poured some love into this irreverent and self-aware survivors-like.

Topdeck Automat | Ludokultur | Nov 16 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

A fusion of autobattler and deckbuilding, Topdeck Automat has been on my radar since it was first announced, and I’m very much looking forward to finding some time for it this month. Not only does Topdeck Automat have a fully stocked deck of cards, but the upgrade system allows for outrageous combinations, so best you get experimenting.

The Legend of the Crystal Revolver | Eseresh | Nov 16 | PC (Win)

The visuals in The Legend of the Crystal Revolver might be streamlined, but I do like the silhoutted art style of this upcoming roguelite platformer. I also like the sound of the gameplay, which is focused on speed and momentum.

Dawn of Defense | 6side Studio | Nov 17 | PC (Win)

In Dawn of Defense you must fight back against the ominous-sounding Empire, leading your gang of Viking-style warriors as they build and battle in this characterful blend of real-time strategy and tower defence, all wrapped up with a bit of roguelite goodness.

Below the Stone | StrollArt | Nov 17 | PC (Win)

Not for the faint of heart, Below the Stone is a fantasy action-roguelite with an extraction element and a stern disposition. This Apogee-published top-down dungeon crawler has been in Early Access since 2023, and leaves EA three years to the day it launched.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor – Knockout Expansion | Funday Games | Nov 17 | Android, iOS, PC (Win), PS5, Switch, Xbox

The latest major content update for DRG: Survivor adds a melee-focused Brawler to the roster, loads of new weapons, plus a dangerous new biome where both the fauna and the flora want to eat you up. The new game mode also sounds like a blast!

Korridor | TinyToad | Nov 18 | PC (Win)

Korridor modernises and upgrades the dodge-and-shoot gameplay of mobile gate shooters and then stirs in some roguelite game design. Herein, you march onward down a giant corridor, blasting anything in your way, dodging damage, and choosing your upgrades by walking through specific gates.

Attack of the Astrals | Hewey’s Workshop | Nov 25 | PC (Lin, Mac, Win)

Mini-tactics games like Attack of the Astrals are on the rise, and this looks like it could be a keeper. In this fantasy roguelite, you must lead your team of three champions into epic battles on tiny grids that the developers liken to tactical puzzles to solve.

Astral Throne II: Age of the Phoenix | Zero Sun Games | Nov 26 | PC (Win)

Zero Sun Games is back for another bite of the proverbial apple this month, with Astral Throne II, a tactical RPG inspired by the likes of Fire Emblem, but realised with a striking PSX-era aesthetic that should appeal to nostalgics out there.

Dwarrf: A Pinball Roguelike | Sam Stubbings | Nov 27 | PC (Lin, Win)

Is there a better fusion of ingredients in this world than dwarves and pinball? I’m not sure there is, but we’ll have a chance to find out when Dwarrf: A Pinball Roguelike hits all the PC platforms later this month.

Appulse | Le Rado | Nov 27 | PC (Win)

Pinball games aren’t something I pursued as my gaming habits developed, but I loved them when I was younger, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the ongoing rise of physics-based roguelites in 2026. Appulse might be one of the best-looking games in this niche yet, and if they can nail the physics, then we could be onto a winner. The fact that Raw Fury is publishing also gives me extra hope.

Drako: Blood Heist | Standoff Games | Nov 27 | PC (Win)

I mentioned Isaac-likes further up the page, and Drako: Blood Heist is the second of the two. This one’s also weird-sounding (in a good way) as you, a vampire cat, attempt to steal all the red stuff from the local bloodbanks. Meow!

GrimKeep | Resolution Games | Nov 30 | PC (Mac, Win)

Another dicebuilder to round out the month, and this one’s by a very experienced developer, Resolution Games. The team behind Demeo has been working on GrimKeep alongside other projects, but I think it looks very interesting, with high-quality art and a sinister setting. It looks like the month might end with a grim-faced banger.
