Forbidden Solitaire is back in your disc tray with a new story expansion: The Discarded

Forbidden Solitaire might not be a roguelite, but it is a sinister solitaire card game from the genre specialists over at Grey Alien Games and Night Signal Entertainment. If you’ve already discovered its secrets for yourself, today’s news will very likely please you.

The Discarded is the name of the new expansion which launched last night for Forbidden Solitaire, and it adds new story, bosses, and arcane upgrades across 30 card-driven scenarios. Here’s the description for this enigmatic DLC:

“It’s 2020. Play as Robyn Cierra, who excavates hidden files within the remnants of a cursed 1995 CD-ROM linked to a series of grisly events. A bizarre graveyard of scrapped content lies entombed deep within the code.”

“You thought your sister was beyond saving. Until now.”

The Steam page for the expansion also mentions a new “otherworldly museum filled with forsaken exhibits” that we can explore, plus there are new enemies to battle and fresh puzzles to solve.
