If you’re a Switch 2 player wondering what to dive into next, you’re in luck — both Blue Prince and Rotwood launched on the hybrid system earlier today following Nintendo Indie World Showcase.
Developed by Klei Entertainment, the studio behind Don’t Starve, Rotwood also officially exits Early Access on PC today, nearly two years after first launching in April 2024.
If you’re unfamiliar, Rotwood is a roguelite beat‑’em‑up that supports co‑op for up to four players. Button‑mashing alone won’t cut it, as success requires mastering combat and carefully managing your gear.
As detailed in the following Steam blog, the 1.0 release of Rotwood has seen many sizable changes. These changes include a new narrative conclusion, a final boss, a new unique location and much more.
Klei Entertainment also teased what’s coming next for the game, noting that DLC might be on the cards if enough players are interested. It also reassured fans that it will be monitoring the launch and on hand to patch any emerging issues that arise.
