After nearly two years in Early Access, Temtem: Swarm, a bullet-hell spin-off of the popular creature-collecting MMO, is gearing up for launch.
The game is heading to PC and PS5 on April 2nd, with a Switch version planned to follow at some point in the future.
I was a huge fan of Temtem’s refreshing take on the Pokémon formula when it launched in 2022, but I’ll admit, Swarm completely slipped under my radar. Looking at the game’s Steam page, it looks to maintain the online elements and creature collecting elements of the original.
Up to three players (now with cross-platform co-op) can buddy up and take on relentless swarms of Tems together. Here, you can evolve your monsters on the battlefield by collecting enough XP and each evolution brings massive upgrades to your strength and skills.
