Believe it or not, a second Prince of Persia game is set to launch before the long-anticipated Sands of Time remake!
Following the excellent The Lost Crown, The Rogue Prince of Persia is now confirmed to launch on PC in August 2025. Ubisoft made the announcement during the PC Gaming Show at Summer Games Fest, but nothing was shared on possible console ports.
As well as the game’s release window, developer Evil Empire also teased what new content is on the way. The third act of the game will be coming as part of the 1.0 release and this will include a new biome, the game’s final boss (the infamous King Nogai), as well as the chance to finally meet the Prince’s father, the King of Persia.
Mike shared his thoughts on the game when it first launched into Early Access. In his review, he said: “The Rogue isn’t in Early Access for the sake of it; the devs have work to do if this is going to be one of the elite games in the genre.“
