Void/Breaker is the work of Stubby Games, an independent studio helmed by Daniel Stubbington. The developer’s previous work includes The Entropy Centre, sci-fi physics-based puzzler, however, this game is lot more punchy, with a cool gravity tether that lets you sling things about the place, as well as lots of futuristic weaponry.
Right now, Void/Breaker is available on PC via Steam and PC Games Pass, and I’ve spent a bit of time this evening trying it out. Long story short: this is shaping up to be an engrossing first-person shooter and I’m definitely going to be covering it more deeply in the months ahead.
Void/Breaker’s Roadmap
Those months between now and launch are going to be busy, as per the below infographic shared over on a previous Steam post.
Over the next few months we can expect Zones 4 and 5 to be added to the game, along with a handful of additional weapons, a bunch of gameplay-enhancing modules, and a selection of new enemy variants.
When Void/Breaker will leave Early Access / Game Preview on PC remains unclear, but it’ll be at some point in the back half of 2026, by the looks of things. Hopefully it’ll also land on PS5 at the same time!
