The folks over at Klei Entertainment have been a busy bunch this last couple of weeks – more so than usual, at least – as the studio has just served up some Don’t Starve tidbits for us to enjoy during what’s left of the summer.
That’s right, Dear Reader, it’s time to dive back into the twisted, macabre world of Don’t Starve Together, the evergreen open-world multiplayer survival crafting game that has been out for more than ten years now!

Meanwhile, the animation team at Klei has been busy on their own project. The team has been cooking up a new animated short for you to enjoy called No Day at the Beach, and you can watch it below, at the end of this missive.
Don’t Starve Together: Mobile Edition
Before you hit play, I also want to mention the recent mobile release of Don’t Starve Together, which snuck past me last month. It’s a long-overdue port of a fantastic co-op experience, and it has gone straight into my article about the best Android and iOS roguelike games.
Klei’s standalone survival sandbox is now available on mobile with cross-saves on both platforms. What’s more, you can connect to your PC account and get a bunch of unlocks in the new mobile version of this enduring co-op survival roguelite, so you don’t have to start from scratch if you want to play on the go via Android or iOS.
