Update: Developer Mega Crit has now shared on Steam that Slay the Spire 2 has surpassed 574,000 players on Sunday.
The game is currently sitting at the top of Steam’s best sellers chart, outperforming the likes of Resident Evil Requiem, Marathon, and Counter-Strike 2.
Original story: Slay the Spire 2 has only been out a few days, but it’s already breaking several records on Steam.
You might be wondering what kind of margin it’s leading by. Some of the biggest Steam launches of the year so far include Resident Evil Requiem (344,214), Mewgenics (115,428), and Marathon (88,337).
That said, it may not hold this top spot for the full year, with Forza Horizon 6, and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach expected to make major waves on the platform.
