According to a post from the game’s official X account, there will be the option to try the game for free with no ads as well as purchase it outright.
Published by Devolver Digital, the brick-braking, ball-fusing roguelike first landed on PC and consoles last October. The game’s first of three promised content expansions also launched late last month and added new characters, new balls, new passives, and more.
Ball x Pit received a glowing response on launch, and our Mike was just as impressed. In his review, he said: “I have to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Ball X Pit, and I’m going to keep chipping away at it, I reckon. It combines the zen flow of a survivors-like with the arcade action of Breakout, and I’m totally here for this combo.”
