I’ve been keep close tabs on Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor since it first started burrowing its way through Early Access on Steam. It landed in good shape and has only got better with time, and it’s not finished yet.
That’ll change next month, on September 17th, when DRG Survivor is hitting 1.0 on PC (Mac, Win). At that point, the game will swell with a bunch of new content, including the new Elimination game mode, a progression overhaul, and the Gear system detailed here.
That’s all information we knew before today, but this week the latest intel out of Gamescom is that the auto-shooter is not only launching on PC but it is also dropping on Xbox Series S/X on the very same day.
And there’s even more potentially good news, because today we just found out that the game is also coming to Game Pass on PC and Xbox – a nice extra if you’re already a subscriber to the service.
