The headline covers the main announcement, and that is the reveal that Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is coming to consoles later this year.
Specifically, the Norse myth-inspired roguelite auto-shooter is set to make an appearance on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2025.
When it does make the jump from PC, it’ll do so with all of the content released thus far on PC, plus the stuff that is still to be added. That new content includes a new realm, an extra playable character, and an endless mode.
First, however, it’s the new Svartalheim update and everything that comes with it. That includes a temporary test event called Hobgoblins Everywhere, where you can get unique gear for helping out.
The main highlight of the update, however, is new playable gods, Brokk and Sindri, “who bring powerful passive bonuses through their runes.”
The new Warden class is described as “a semi-ranged tank [that] wields a hammer and shield, boasting heavy defense, crowd control, and a hunger for food, glory, and gold.” That glory will come at the expense of new enemies and a fresh-faced boss in the final act.
