I’m going to keep this one relatively brief for two reasons. One, the trailer that I’ve embedded below does all the heavy lifting for me. The second reason is I’m an old git and all these pokémon derivatives go way over my balding head.
The headline is the Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers Early Access release date, which is March 25th. Not long to wait now, then. When it does land, it’ll cost £7.99 GBP / €9.99 EUR / $9.99 USD.
This cute-looking game challenges players to level up and evolve around 180 unique creatures, or Kādomon as they’re called here. It’s a roguelike-inspired auto-battler, so you’ll be looking to find synergies in your growing collection of fighting friends. We’re also promised big boss battles against “super-sized” enemies, which sounds cool. Here’s the official spiel:
Complete your Kādodex with each Kādomon you encounter and collect, synergise your attacks and take advantage of different Kādomon types to unleash powerful team effects in battle. Find super rare shiny variants of Kādomon known as Misprints, and defeat mighty teams to unlock new monsters and become the ultimate Kādomon-tamer.
If you’re an impatient sort and March 25th seems like too far away, you can check out the prologue version of the game over on Steam.
