I know I’m not the only one who enjoyed the original Moonlighter, and to all you folks out there that did, I have good news: there’s a sequel on the way!

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is the name of the game, and once again developer Digital Sun is working with 11 bit studios on the project.

In terms of the gameplay, you’ll be pleased to hear that it’s a continuation of the original. Lead protagonist Will returns and he wants to return his store in Tresna to its former glory.

“The original Moonlighter was a pivotal moment for us, marking the growth of Digital Sun as a team. Five years on, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault showcases everything we’ve learned along the way.

“We’re channelling all our craftsmanship into creating a game that’s not just better, but brimming with even more charm in every detail”, said Digital Sun boss-man Javier Gimenez.

But when will you get a chance to get your grubby mitts on Moonlighter 2? Well, it’s heading to PC, PS5, and Xbox platforms at some still-to-be-determined point in 2025.
