Long-time readers here will know that I’m a sucker for a good crossover event, and the next one to land on my desk is no different.
The game getting the content is Turnbound, an inventory-themed turn-based auto-battler by 1TK that launched this May on Steam PC (and that’s on Linux, Mac, and Windows).
Lending its weight and, in this case, designs for some character skins is none other than Dead by Daylight, an asymmetrical multiplayer game from Behaviour Interactive.
The update adds four new skins to Turnbound, all themed around the killers from Dead by Daylight. The list includes Wukong as The Trapper, Alice as The Huntress, Kitsune as The Artist, and Robin as The Deathslinger. The unlock requirements are as follows:
- Wukong / The Trapper: Starstruck – Destroy an opponent Hero Tile using a “Bloodthirsty Bat”
- Alice / The Huntress: Beast of Prey – Battle with 5 “The White Rabbit” Tiles on your board
- Kitsune / The Artist: Birds of Torment – Destroy 6 Tiles using “Pecklet” Tiles in a single battle
- Robin / The Deathslinger: The Redeemer – Destroy 2 Tiles using a “Haunted Harpoon” in a single turn
Dead by Daylight is a game I’ve covered loads over the years, but it’s the first time it has crossed my path here on Rogueliker. If you’re a fan of horror in any sense, you should take a closer look.
