Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was packed with exciting announcements, including new trailers for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. But one surprise that caught us off guard was the shadow drop of Rift of the NecroDancer, the excellent rhythm roguelike from Brace Yourself Games which released on PC last month.
The game’s Celeste Music Pack DLC is also available from day one, and its four songs can either be purchased separately or as a bundle. Early adopters can enjoy a 10% launch discount that last until 16th April, and this applies to both the base game and the Celeste DLC.
Rift of the NecroDancer is a lane-based rhythm game spinoff of the classic 2015 roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer. The game features various enemies that move in different patterns to the beat, such as bats that shift lanes when attacked.
In our review of the game, we said: “There is a ton of fun to be had here for new and veteran NecroDancer fans alike!”
