Forsworn has only been out for less than two weeks, but already the “team” at Resummon Studios is hard at work on the tactical roguelite.
I shared some impressions of Forsworn shortly after launch, and just a couple of days after that, the developer had already deployed a two-player mode that scaled to suit a pair of adventures.
Now the developer has returned with a roadmap update that confirms the plan to drop a new, free hero and a new four-player mode, all by the end of 2026. Then, if all goes well, we’ll get another free hero in the new year, around January.
After that, Resummon will be looking to put out an expansion before the summer, with another hero, new difficulty tiers and modifiers, and “brand new maps with their own combat encounters, mystery events, diverse enemies, bosses, items, blessings”.
