Remnant II to get The Awakened King DLC in November

We’ve got a content update today for action fans, with the news that Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing are happily preparing for the imminent arrival of the first DLC expansion for Remnant II.

The happy couple have called it The Awakened King, and with a name like that, we can confirm that it’s most definitely a boy!

The new content will weigh in at a healthy 9,75 € and can be purchased together along with its future siblings. Indeed, this is the first of three planned DLC packs.

The due date for this first arrival, however, is November 14, and that’s across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

The Awakened King returns

In The Awakened King, the press release teases that we’re going to be fighting back waves of creatures that emerge from the depths of the sea. Yikes.

Once in this new region of Losomn, we will have to stop The One True King, who’s rather angry after being corrupted by the Root.

To tackle this new challenge and help us explore the game’s procedurally generated dungeons, we’re getting an assortment of new items and a new archetype: The Ritualist.

Here’s a sliver of official copy about the new class, with more details to follow closer to launch:

Leveraging status effects to punish foes, this new Archetype is a master of pain and suffering.
