The buzz around Darkest Dungeon has continued to pick up pace this week, with the announcement that Red Hook Studios is teaming up with Vault Comics to make some graphic novels based on the gothic horror video game series.
Red Hook’s Chris Bourassa is working with writer John Lees and artist Maan House to bring his twisted creations to life, and you can sign up for the pre-launch here and, in doing so, keep track of its development.
The project seems to be called The Exhibition Descends, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to have to wait long for more news.
If that’s not enough to sate your thirst for arcane knowledge, you should read more about the upcoming expansion for the first game: The Fire’s Edge. That’s dropping in just a few days, which makes this a particularly exciting time for fans of Darkest Dungeon!
Would you like to know more?
Still with me? Of course you are! If you want to keep reading about great hand-picked roguelikes, this website is absolutely chock-full of them. Head over to the Guides Page for a concentrated hit of roguish games, organised via sub-genre and platform.
What’s more, there are always going to be new lists for emerging trends as well as fresh titles to highlight. This is because my backlog is embarrassingly long, and so I’m always trying to balance the new games that arrive in my inbox with playing the stuff I already have.
