After landing collaborations with Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout, and Assassin’s Creed, roguelike deckbuilder smash hit Balatro now has content appearing in Dying Light 2.
Titled Friends of Aiden, this latest bundle for the frantic zombie parkour game is out now and is free to download. The DLC pack includes a selection of Balatro-themed items including the Jimbo Outfit, Ceremonial Dagger, Joker Charm, and a new paraglider skin.
Despite already being 3 years old, content for Dying Light 2 shows no signs of slowing down. Past collaborations for the game have included For Honor, Payday 3, and The Walking Dead.
Director Tymon Smektała said: “We promised at least five years of support for Dying Light 2, and our fans can count on it. This summer we’re going all in for our community. We’re celebrating our incredibly talented modding community with a UGC Fest and have a full house of free content in the Dying Light 2 x Balatro: Friend of Aiden crossover.”
Mike was fortunate enough to speak to Balatro developer LocalThunk to find out more about the game’s mechanics, its inspirations, and plans for the future. You can find his interview here.
