Earlier this week at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, we also learned that Ocean Dive Studio’s upcoming twin-stick roguelite shooter, Section 13, will be leaving Early Access this May.
Launched into Early Access in July 2023, Section 13 sees you unravel a mystery surrounding a top-secret facility that is desperate to keep things a secret. Players step into the shoes of Agents Red, Boy Scout, Beaker, and Scalpel, as they fight to unearth the buried secrets of Section 13… and solve a few personal mysteries of their own.
After selecting their loadout, players will begin to stack up temporary and persistent upgrades, as they delve into the depths of a subterranean base. The game can either be played solo or with up to three players, and there’s even the option to enable friendly fire for an added challenge.
According to its Steam page, the 1.0 version of the game will include a final boss to complete the campaign, two new tactical gear (Drone & Deployable Shield), 20 Steam Achievements, and much more.
