The stars have truly aligned in the very first crossover event for sci-fi deckbuilder Lonestar.
Starting on 27th June, the event introduces Into the Breach’s Abe as a new pilot as well as 10 exclusive tactical parts, hidden events, and an all-new boss battle to challenge your skills. Abe comes with the ability to choose one or two special components following elite battles, with his unique part pool including an Electric Whip and a Flamethrower.
With FTL woven so deeply into the DNA of Lonestar, a collaboration with Into the Breach (also from developer Subset Games) must have felt like a dream come true for Math Tide.
In a blog post on Steam, the team said: “Into the Breach has long been one of our favorite games, both in terms of how it plays and how it’s designed. More importantly, it was one of the titles that inspired us to start making indie games in the first place.”
Back in April, Mike had fun spending some time with this Faster Than Light-a-like. In his review, he said: “It feels accessible and welcoming – for a roguelite, at least – but there’s also enough detail to get lost in as you explore this universe and learn its many nuances.”
