After a shaky first outing with Seekers of the Storm, Gearbox Studios has revealed the next DLC for Risk of Rain 2 titled Alloyed Collective.

This third main DLC for the excellent roguelike shooter will add six all-new stages, two new survivors, 15 new loot items, and much more. An appreciated touch is that only one player needs to own Alloyed Collective for this content to be playable for an entire lobby.

No release date has been revealed as of yet for Alloyed Collective, but players can now add it to their wishlists on Steam.

An interesting detail we spotted in this blog post is that Gearbox hired additional support in helping to develop Alloyed Collective, whilst they worked on repairing the foundations of Seekers of the Storm.

Released last August, Seekers of the Storm had a pretty rocky launch, to say the least. Common complaints included its many glitches, one-time-use items, and maps that felt largely empty. Not exactly the greatest first impression for fans since Gearbox took the reins.

Since then, though, Gearbox has listened to players and released several updates addressing the DLC’s most glaring issues. It looks like these changes have been appreciated too, as recent reviews are now ‘Very Positive’ compared to its all-time rating of ‘Mixed’.
