It has been a busy week for new games and big reveals, and yet another newly announced action-roguelike has just been unveiled, and Marked For Mayhem might be the most polished-looking one yet.
Developed by a new studio of industry veterans called Bladework Games, Marked For Mayhem is a third-person action-roguelike where players must work together in teams of four to take down dangerous bosses, but also sabotage each other and then steal all the glory.
As you can see from the attached promotional materials, Marked For Mayhem has a big-budget feel and looks somewhere between Fortnite and Overwatch thanks to its chunky character designs and bold colour palette.
The framing for all this chaotic PvPvE gameplay is an explosive interdimensional competition where characters are encouraged to show off their skills across missions that mix in-game events and challenging boss battles, all wrapped up in competitive shenanigans.
