Topdeck Automat has just got a release date, and the autobattler-deckbuilder hybrid is just a few weeks away.
I’ve had my eye on Topdeck Automat for a while now, and so I’m looking forward to trying the full game when it’s ready to play next month, on November 16 2026.
Topdeck Automat is the work of Ludokultur, who also gave us the highly engaging physics-based billiards roguelite, Rack and Slay.
The studio’s new game, however, is a very different kettle of fish, as it blends autobattler elements with deckbuilding strategy and colourful comic-style graphics. You play as a droid who must defend the planet against a horde of aliens, and you do so by printing your way out of trouble.
As mentioned, the full game is launching on November 16, but you can try before you buy via the demo that’s already available on Steam. If you can wait a little while longer, the developer is also planning to push out a big update for said demo for Steam Next Fest, giving you an even better look at the game ahead of its launch on PC (Lin, Win).
