If you’ve been itching for a return to worshipping the sacred sheep then this week’s news of a big expansion coming to Cult of the Lamb will no doubt be music to your ears.
The new DLC is due to drop next year, and it brings an icy feel to proceedings. Yngya, the forgotten God of the Lambs, summons you to a new frozen biome complete with new enemies to fight, locations to explore, and new mechanics to change up the gameplay loop.
Players will only be able to access the content quite far into the base game, which, to be fair, makes sense given the season it’s based on.
Cold means new mechanics, and keeping your flock warm will be a constant concern. There will also be two new and apparently “vast” dungeons to battle through, and also mounts to train and even… gulp… eat when times get really tough. How baarbaric.
