It’s a tough economy out there, I think we can all agree on that. Nobody knows that better than the twisted folks over at Chop Chop Games, who just announced their next game: Flask (or FLASK, if you prefer to leave the caps-lock on).
This striking game is built around the distinctive art of John Kenn Mortensen, who has you playing as an alchemist who must drag an expensive tower around a grimdark fantasy kingdom, powering it and your crew via the blood of goblins and monsters. Yikes.
“Flask is my first ever experience working on a video game, and it offers such a unique canvas for collaboration and creativity – not to mention a new home for my nightmarish designs,” explained Mortensen, the game’s narrative and artistic lead, who has joined the Chop Chop team.
Not only does it look and sound wicked, this auto-battler also has a PvP element, with asynchronous multiplayer every third battle. I’m not sure exactly how that’s going to play out, but I’m intrigued.
There’s no word on when Flask is going to land on PC (Win), other than the “coming soon” currently listed on the ol’ Steam page. However, you can do the whole wishlisting thing there, should your twisted heart desire updates in the future.
