After four major content updates, Bromio’s dimension-diving roguelite Remnants of the Rift is gearing up for a full 1.0 release. The final product is set to launch on PC and Nintendo Switch on 29th May.
Released in Early Access in May 2023, the game combines the tactics of grid-based strategy with action-orientated combat. Players can pause the action at any given point to prepare their attacks and assess the challenges that they face out on the battlefield.
According to the game’s Steam description, each dive is different and you’ll need to switch up your strategy on the fly. Battles are procedurally generated and players can use mods and equipment to enhance their preferred play style and gain the upper hand.
Players take on the role of Morgan, a suspenders-wearing mercenary, who enters and explores a rift into reality known as The Bast at the request of factions looking to exploit it.
