There is a bunch of new stuff in today’s Vampire Crawlers update, and we also got a sneak peek at what’s in store via a new content roadmap, shared by the good folks over at poncle and Nosebleed.

Adding player-requested features is the main focus here, and with new ways to exit the game and fresh card sorting options, you’ll be enjoying your crawls in the lap of luxury from here on in.

Also detailed in the same Steam post was the new Vampire Crawlers Roadmap, which details the upcoming Death Parade update, with Bone Deep and Curdled Tunnels still set to follow later in the year.

In particular, Death Parade is going to add a whole bunch of new content, with two new characters teased, alongside new arcanas, cards, stages, and more. It was also stressed that the content listed in the infographic is the minimum we can expect to see in the update.

The most interesting note, I thought, was a detail about how the developers plan on layering new mechanics with each update. Each update will introduce new gameplay wrinkles, which you will need to complete via a new challenge mode. Once done, you’ll then be able to toggle that mechanic on and off for future runs.

That sounds like a nice way of scaling up the complexity of the game without overwhelming new players, who, as you can see, will already have to negotiate with all the base content and everything else detailed in the 2026 content roadmap below.

Finally, our Kieran enjoyed Vampire Crawlers when he reviewed it, and you can read his impressions here.
