It’s always pleasing to watch a game dominate on Steam and then reach a broader audience on other platforms.

That’s exactly what has happened with Knock on the Coffin Lid, as a Complete Edition is heading to PS5 and Xbox Series at an unconfirmed date this May. The Complete Edition contains the base game and the “Nightmares of Millenis” expansion, making for 100+ hours of content.

Knock on the Coffin Lid is a roguish deckbuilder that is set in a deep and complicated medieval fantasy world full of competing factions. Players can collect powerful artifacts, build unbeatable decks, and fight the leaders of factions that try to dispute their authority.

Developed and published by RedBoon, the game first launched on Steam PC (Mac, Win) last August.

Mike reviewed the game when it launched last August. In his review, he said: “It’s not your typical roguelike deckbuilder, but I think there’s definitely a place for it, especially for those of you who want a bit more narrative than we’re usually dealt in this genre.”
