Professional roguelite nerds Mad Mushroom have a growing stable of games that are highly relevant to us here at Rogueliker, and there are several announcements from the publisher to tell you about after this evening’s OTK Winter Games Expo.
The major headlines relate to three games already firmly on my radar, with two new signings and a big console announcement.
However, there are also major content updates to tell you about across three games, with five games included altogether. Keep reading for all the talking points, along with trailers for each game!
Mad Mushroom signs…
Night Swarm is a stylish vampire-themed survivors-like (but with actual vampires in it) from Fubu Games, and I rather liked the demo I played earlier this year. Based on my first impressions, I reckon I’ll look again when it lands on PC next month, on December 4.
The other game joining the Mad Mushroom family is Cursemark, which I’ve not played, but I am familiar with the previous work of developer Clyde Games (Into the Necrovale). This one’s a grim-dark fantasy RPG and it’s due out next year. Also, check out those pixels.
Hell Clock is going to have a big year in 2026
Then there is some good news about one of 2025’s most exciting action-RPGs, and that’s Hell Clock. This time-focused roguelite is steeped in Brazilian mythology and history, and it’s coming to consoles in 2026.
Of more interest to existing players is the news that update 1.2 has just dropped for the game. The so-called Movement Update brings a new level of polish to the game, with new animations to accommodate the shift to 360 degrees of freedom. Players will also get the ability to attack and use their skills during movement, with improved responiveness and added benefit. All 52 of the constellations are now in the game, too.
And now for something completely different
On top of all that fun stuff, the highly promising barbarian-powered auto-shooter otherwise known as Conquest Dark, has just got a tasty Early Access content drop that adds all-new Eldritch Weapons and Armor to the game. Here’s the new trailer, for your viewing pleasure.
Finally, To Kill a God, which is due out next year, just got a new demo which overhauls the SkillMap system, improves combat, and tweaks a bunch of other stuff. If you’ve been following this one, it’s time for an update. Check out the new trailer for a closer look.
