If you know your rogues, then there’s a reasonably good chance that you’ve heard of both Roboquest and Dead Cells (just in case you haven’t, Roboquest is a stylish first-person shooter and Dead Cells is a pixel perfect metroidvania-inspired platformer).
Good news for fans of either (and both) has just landed in the form of an announcement that Dead Cells-themed content is heading to all versions of Roboquest on August 14. Let’s dig into the specifics:
The headline of the announcement is that the Collector is joining Roboquest. However, you’re going to have to work for it, as he’s hidden in one of the levels and demands tribute.
Once unlocked he’ll appear at Basecamp, and interacting with him there will bring up the new Weapon Filter interface, which lets you increase your odds of getting a certain weapon, or removes it from the next run.
Doing so will help boost your chances of finding the new weapon added to the game: Panchaku. That’s right, Dear Reader, it’s time to dual wield frying pans in Roboquest. On top of that, there’s also a red scarf to discover, letting you complete the Dead Cells look.
