Fleetbreakers is an upcoming roguelite RTS and the debut game by LastKeep, a new studio maybe, but a studio made up of alumni who worked in key roles on Halo Wars and Age of Mythology, to name-drop two of their past works.
The headline today is the news that there’s a refreshed demo available, although you’ll have to request access if you want in. The demo update comes after feedback from playtesters earlier this summer, and it precedes the launch of the game into Early Access, which is just a couple of weeks away.
The updated demo boasts a redesigned Nexus for easier fleet control, a refined in-game economy (and reworked extractors), and deeper synergies via the relic system.
We’re also promised better onboarding, which is always appreciated when trying to learn a game that fuses two different genres.
Fleetbreakers, which was originally called Project Citadel, is heading to PC (Win) on September 15th, where it’ll be available on Steam.
