The update in question is called The Abyss and it just dropped. An unfortunate but fitting choice of words, given the game in question.
It brings a whole new region to the game, plus lots of new bits for the biomes already in there. You’ll be able to try shorter but more dangerous routes as you try and climb to the surface via Silos and Pipeworks.
On top of the new biome, we’ve got five powerful game-changing artifacts that will replace perks inside the new area, plus a selection of new enemies and items to further mix up gameplay.
The description for the trailer below also mentioned that we better not be scared of the dark, and while I’m not scared per se, the idea of climbing in darkness at speed doesn’t sound ideal…
